Firefox pages vanishing after short appearance -- problem, with the Firefox on my laptop, the page appears for about two seconds and then disappears. Since upgrading to the latest Firefox (3.51?) the Session Restore feature which restores windows, tabs has NEVER worked. I get a white screen which says how embarrassing it is my previous session can't be restored. I'd just like to start every session as a new one, it would save a lot of time, but can't figure out how to avoid the restore function. The Mozilla/Firefox support site is so dense and discombobulated I can't find anything helpful there. Any suggestions?

I'm using Firefox 3.5 (on Leopard). Whenever I re-open FF, it remembers my tabs as it should, but there's a catch. All of them will "load" forever without actually doing anything unless I go to the location bar of each and hit enter. Hitting "Reload all tabs" doesn't work, instead it makes them all go blank. Also, until I switch to another tab and back, the URL of the first tab doesn't even appear. [more inside]

I like to watch a lot of streaming video especially for sports games. I usually use the Google Chrome browser. But some sites' media players say they only work with Firefox or IE and won't even give me the chance of trying it out in Chrome. Is there a way to trick the sites into thinking Chrome is really one of the approved browsers? Or is there really some fundamental difference that makes the players break in Chrome? [more inside]

I type the word iphone a lot knowing It should be spelled iPhone but I'm lazy and would rather just right click it and correct it. I know I can right click it and add it to the dictionary but what I want it to do is give iPhone with the capital P as a suggestion. I have already added iPhone to the dictionary but dont want to add iphone because its the wrong spelling. My friend complains about the same problem when it comes to Facebook he spells it lowercase and wants spellchecker to give him the option of spelling it with the capitalized F. Just as it would if he typed amsterdam and it would suggest Amsterdam with the capitalized A. Is this possible to fix? Thanxs in advance.

I'm using Windows 2000 professional. I'm copying data from excel to the forms on separate pages of a website, and have to repeat a string of keyboard controls several times. I've been using Del.icio.us and I've made a "Bookmark on Delicious" link for my Firefox bookmarks bar, using this page. However, when I click on my link (or the My Delicious link I also created) they both take me to a facebook page that I visited on the day I created the bookmark. I removed them both and reinstalled them, but they changed back immediately to a new facebook page; I then manually changed the links to point to the ones from the delicious page, which worked for a while, but on restarting firefox they changed again to a facebook page. Any ideas?

Firefox Fail: Sometimes I cannot click links on the tab that is in focus. Hovering over links does not make finger images or clickable links. Hovering over (current tab's) blank spaces, which are linked areas on the tab below, makes those lower links active (yes, I can click on them). Grah! It can be fixed by alt-tabbing to a different program and back (another FF window is insufficient) or restarting Firefox. [more inside]
