Is there an equivalent plugin for Chrome that duplicates
It's All Text for Firefox? I use a browser a lot to enter complicated text into things like wikis and I need a full featured text editor for Chrome. I currently use It's All Text which lets me use vim to do everything that vim can do to the text in a text box but there doesn't seem to be an equivalent for Chrome.

Why does my computer believe that all sites aside from Google Mail and Google Talk do not exist?
Dell running Windows Vista, virus-protected and up-to-date. Firefox 3.6.13 displays GMail and GChat but loads only a blank white page for all other sites; IE gives me "this page cannot be displayed" for every site I checked, including GMail. The admin account (my primary account) is the only account affected; I can log into a guest account and see the entire internet.

Are there any tools for blocking out useless & slow "features" on facebook? I'm unsure the last time I actually appreciated any facebook popup. In particular, I've no need for facebook's toolbar because Adium and my N900 log into facebook's chat directly. Bonus if it'll work under MicroB on a Nokia N900.

How paranoid should I be about my Windows XP Pro machine after hitting a dodgy site with Firefox 3.6, scanning with Microsoft Security Essentials, updating NoScript, scanning with MSE again, and finally using Windows to restore to yesterday's restore point, about 18 hours before hitting that site? Firefox is now missing NoScript completely, but it's been installed for weeks and surely should have been here yesterday morning. Has there been a known issue with NoScript, or am I just a special (and dim) snowflake?

I'm encountering the same problem with Gmail and Firefox (on Mac) described in
this question, but I'm too computer illiterate to understand the fixes that the "best answer" refers me to- I can't find "about:config" to make sure dom.storage.enabled is TRUE; "About Firefox" just gets me the little box with the icon and the version number. Gmail acting funny in Firefox: I have 2 gmail tabs open. One is for my personal account, the other is through my employer (the college uses google to manage their webmail service). If I try to "Compose Mail" or "Reply" or anything that would open up a new email, on either account, the top of the page goes to "Loading" but nothing ever happens. In addition, the Gmail Chat tab is missing. Only not working on my home computer; both were working fine on my office computer when I went in to check 30 min ago.

I have just finished building this website... http://www.frankxcarter.com ...for a friend of mine. In Google Chrome the front page displays with no lines across the photograph and the link images {Journal, Photos, etc.) appear when you roll the mouse over the photograph. However, in Firefox there are thick horizontal white lines across the image and in Internet Explorer the rollovers don't display properly at all!
Any advice as to how I can rectify will be greatly appreciated. Thanks,

I have firefox (3.6.8) running with 20-30 tabs open, and sometimes when I close it, I fail to realize there is one small pop-up window running as well. The result is whenever I restart firefox, only the pop-up window is restored, and not the window with 30 tabs. Searching through my history works ok to retrieve some tabs, but some tabs were opened weeks ago, and I don't remember all of the tabs I had open. Is there any way to restore all of those missing tabs?
