Where did these
facebook buttons come from on my firefox? they just appeared this afternoon and I haven't added any add-ons in a long time. I'm running firefox 17.0 according to the about page.

I hate intrusive facebook.
My favorite facebook blocker is 3 versions of firefox behind and doesn't appear to be actively updated anymore. What's more, with the latest redesign, FB has a new social plugin thing on other sites that I can't figure out how to block. What's the best way to keep facebook and its assorted APIs, plugins, sniffers, trackers and malware on its own damn webpage?

Are there any tools for blocking out useless & slow "features" on facebook? I'm unsure the last time I actually appreciated any facebook popup. In particular, I've no need for facebook's toolbar because Adium and my N900 log into facebook's chat directly. Bonus if it'll work under MicroB on a Nokia N900.

Occasionally when opening pages that have the Facebook "Like" sidebar box thing (usually Wired or ThereIFixedIt), I get a pop-up that looks like the sidebar (like
this--pictures and names blurred to protect random strangers). The address for this pop-up is usually in the form http://www.connect.facebook.com/widgets/fan.php?api_key=... I'm using Firefox with about a million extensions, none of which specifically apply to Facebook, Wired, etc. I have pop-ups disabled and neither Facebook nor any of the sites I'm getting the pop-up from have any exceptions in my pop-up preferences. I want to never see that pop-up again, what do I need to do to make this happen?

I've been using Del.icio.us and I've made a "Bookmark on Delicious" link for my Firefox bookmarks bar, using
this page. However, when I click on my link (or the My Delicious link I also created) they both take me to a facebook page that I visited on the day I created the bookmark. I removed them both and reinstalled them, but they changed back immediately to a new facebook page; I then manually changed the links to point to the ones from the delicious page, which worked for a while, but on restarting firefox they changed again to a facebook page.
Any ideas?
