Need to change an Everpure H-300-HSD filter cartridge. The model number on the cartridge is 9720-75. How important is this number? Ordering direct from the Everpure site seems to get me a generic 300-HSD filter, and I'm finding -74 and -76 and -72 and so on models with a price difference of twenty+ dollars on other sites such as Amazon. If I'm off a number is that likely to not work at all?

Is solar water distillation not economically viable for a whole home water supply? Some friends live outside the city limits and don't get city water. They have a well, but it produces smelly, sulfur (?) water that isn't potable (or at least that isn't desirable). I figured solar distillation would be the way to go, but most stills I've found only produce 3 liters a day. Is there anything that can do 400+ gallons a day that the average US home uses? I want to set up a 3gal nano reef tank (possible slightly larger, up to 10gal). I want the system to be as aesthetically pleasing as possible, namely by keeping any equipment out of sight. Could I just drill two holes in the tank, and use a powerful external canister filter, to filter the water and provide water movement? Or is a seperate powerhead necessary? In addition, is there an external way of heating the water, without the use of a sump? Thanks a lot.
