this silicone mold at the thrift store today. My guess is it's for making some sort of fruit-filled baked dessert. I'm imagining something similar to a strawberry shortcake. What is it for?

My dentist recently gave me fillings to replace the lost enamel of nine teeth, and four of these fillings keep falling out. Repeatedly. One of the molar fillings has fallen out three times. One of my canine fillings has fallen out twice. Is this common? Could he be using poor quality materials? Is it indicative of something else being wrong? Should I find a new dentist?

I have fillings that need to be replaced, and I need to decide whether I want amalgam or composite fillings. I may also need a new crown, and I need to decide whether I want the basic option or to upgrade. How do I decide?

So, I cracked one of my lower molars and it now needs to be crowned. My dentist is planning to perform a root canal on the tooth before crowning it, but I'm not sure if it is necessary.

I'm highly upset. Against my initial instincts, I allowed a dentist to put three fillings in my mouth last Monday. Almost a week later, my mouth is STILL hurting. I've been told by others this is not normal. Beyond that, I found out after the fillings were put in place, they were amalgam. I had assumed they would be composite since my other filling was composite (put in by another dentist years ago). I need advice.

Pain when chewing with a composite filling. Will I need (yet another) root canal? And what's up with my teeth, anyway?!

I've just had 3 white enamel fillings in the bottom-left corner of my mouth. Looking in the mirror, I now have a small bluish-gray mark at the nearest 'peak' of each molar. Should I be worried?

My wife and I went to the dentist yesterday for an exam. This was our first time at this dentist. He said that both of us had some spots of receding gums, and recommended getting fillings to protect the un-enameled areas of the teeth.
I'm not sure that I want a filling for something that seems like brushing habits and taking more vitamin-C can fix.

My teeth are a mess. I have a major lifelong grinding and chewing problem. The bottom set are very worn down, the top front teeth have crumbled in the past from chewing and I have crowns. I have numerous fillings and root canals and there are ominous cracks in several others. Is there a way I could solve this problem once and for all? I'm talking about fixing the teeth falling apart, not curbing the grinding. Assume cost is not an obstacle.
