I love ginger! Let me drink it! Glug glug glug!

I am obsessed with ginger at the moment in terms of drinks. I love the sharpness and the bite of gingery burn from the spiciness. I have a hot ginger tea/drink recipe NAILED but now I want to make my own ginger drink that is akin to ginger beer but not too alcohol-y. I would also like it to be as natural and inexpensive as possible (ie. no "Soda Stream" or nutsy chemicals or adding pop). Help? [more inside]

Fizzy yoghurty stuff! Yay!

I love Kefir. Not only is it delicious, I generally feel better when I am drinking it. My stomach problems are generally better when I am drinking it regularly. I have been a big fan and drinker of the Liberte Kefir, but I would really like to try making my own because the store bought stuff is pricey. TELL ME ALL YOU KNOW ABOUT KEFIR! [more inside]

Is my 2-day-old lunch boozing me up at work?

Two days ago I made a simple quinoa dish with carrot and zucchini squash. I added copious amounts of brewer's yeast for flavor and nutrional value, and threw it all into a tightly-sealed tupperware container while it was still warm. I then placed it into my backback for later consumption. [more inside]
