What are my options in Toronto for a steady entry-level job that I could start within a week? A line of work where they are always looking for new people and are willing to try you out without a lengthy application and interview process.

I have a very good friend who is overseas right now. He is craving Taco Bell. He has zero access to a Taco Bell as he is in a very remote location. He can receive mail and packages, but they take anywhere from 5 days to 14 days to arrive. It would leave the East Coast and arrive in an undisclosed location in the Middle East.

What is your absolute favorite
fast casual restaurant in your city? I'm working on a project where I'm trying to get exposed to more of these by region. I would love to hear the name of your favorite soup or sandwich or burger joint in your area.

My boyfriend just got me a juicer from Walmart (GE model I believe) since he occasionally does juice fasts and also uses them as meal replacements. I've never really used one before.

Can you recall stories where a character learns an enormous amount of information in a short amount of time and performs an amazing feat? (The Matrix: Neo learns kung fu, Superman: Superman reads a library of medical texts and performs a life-saving surgery, etc.)

I have a couple of friends who were hired at retail and fast food places but have never been put on the actual schedule, even after months go by and they follow up with the manager. Is this an employers way of laying someone off? What is the purpose of hiring someone if you don't put them on the schedule? Any ideas about how my friends can advocate for more hours? Thanks so much!

We're having a small party. I could use ideas for inexpensive - but nice - hors d'oeuvres/snacks for up to 15 people that take minimal prep time, for a total of 15-30 minutes on my feet per day.

Do you have favorite off-menu items you are able to get at fast food restaurants? As an example, I like to get a hamburger, egg and cheese croissant for breakfast at Burger King. I am successful at about half the restaurants I try to order it at. Do you have anything offbeat or non-standard that you successfully order?

I have a co-worker who is moving to one of our offices overseas, semi-permanently, and needs to sell his car. The transfer happened rapidly and there were many things to take care of, one of which, selling his car, didn't get done. He's leaving day after tomorrow. He needs to sell his car before he leaves.
Any ideas on how to do this in Seattle? Are there businesses that take of of this?
Thanks

Once upon a time on the Blue, I remember reading an article that went into great analytical detail about the social significance of slow versus fast zombies, even citing philosophers like Hume to make its point. However, I can't find the article for the life of me!

A couple sitting next to me on a plane were playing a fast two person card game that looked fun. I asked what it was called and they told me it was "Bomb City". Possibly I heard the name wrong. I figured I could easily look it up online and get the rules. No such luck. Does anyone know the rules for "Bomb City"? It was a two person game ( possibly more - I dont' know ), played with a deck of standard playing cards including jokers. I think each person started with three piles of two cards in front of them with the top one frace up. Each game seemed to take 5 or 10 minutes.
Thanks in advance.
