My mom has decided to make t-shirts for our upcoming family reunion. Of course, procrastination seems to be a family trait. [more inside]

I will be attending my annual family reunion this weekend, and have been asked by family members to lead the devotional hymn. I play acoustic guitar and pick up songs by ear fairly easily, but I have no idea what I am looking for. I regularly attend church, and am familiar with many of the traditional hymns, but I am striking out on contemporary devotional songs with a focus on family gathering. It's a long shot, but anyone have suggestions?

We're having a Family Reunion/Memorial this coming weekend (Sunday, May 4th would have been my awesome grandmother's 100th birthday, but she sadly passed away just two months ago), and I am in charge of, among other duties, running the Trivia contest at the Welcome Dinner.
Most of the plans are all set, of course, but as this is an icebreaker I want to do it up right, and I am still adding to my list of challenging queries and over-analyzing the logistics of the thing. I have read the old threads on the Metafilter vs Reddit Pub Trivia contests, but I need a little more help. [more inside]

My grandmother turns 90 years old this year. To celebrate, her daughters decided that the whole family, spread out across most of the country, should all get together in Branson, MO for a week. This is going to be a very expensive trip. [more inside]

My parents and several siblings and spouses are renting two large houses Thanksgiving week for 10 adults and 11 children (ranging in age from 3 to 19). We love and adore each other, and we're all excited about this week. Help me think of things to do ahead of time or during that would be amazing. [more inside]

I've somehow been tasked with organizing a family reunion for my HUGE family. There could be up to 75 people there if everyone comes with spouses/SOs and kids. I plan large events for work and have done travel events like this (bachelorette parties, ski weekends) for smaller groups, but this is a real challenge for a group this large. Advice? [more inside]

At our upcoming family reunion (the first in a good seven years), my mother wants to run an audio "story booth" where family members can come and tell stories to be preserved for posterity. Can y'all think of any tips -- before, during and after -- to help this run smoothly and get the most interesting stories? [more inside]

I have a family reunion coming up soon and I thought it would be fun to make some t-shirts. I am going for humorous, possibly incorporating our last name somehow (long German name). I could maybe play off the fact that I have six brothers and sisters. Maybe the fact that the reunion is taking place in South Dakota and most of us don't live anywhere near there. I dunno...anyone have any ideas?
