I'm sartorially clueless. How would you describe this kind of shirt? It's a "dress shirt", sure, but how would you specify the fabric and cut (particularly that type of collar)? Here is another example. I'm looking to buy some shirts like these but when I go to department stores I can only find this sort of thing - which is cut completely differently and uses an extremely thin fabric. Help me articulate the differences.

I got Werner Herzog to sign one of my Chuck's. He used a permanent Sharpie. I'd like to continue wearing the shoes (it's just a signature), but I'd like the sig to fade as slowly as possible (it's Werner Herzog's signature OMG!)
What is the best way to protect Werner Herzog's signature (in Sharpie) on a pair of Chuck's?

I've made a new fabric product that I hope would sell 5000+ units. For viable efficiency I need to buy manufacturing of the product or its parts. I'm looking for a project management/social networking site for fabric craftspeople, artisans and hobbyists (can include sewing, weaving, whatever) on the MyFolia model. In other words someplace on line where I can organize my projects and connect with other craftspeople. The forums just aren't working for me-- too much chat, not enough organizing.

I just bought some interesting fabric from an enormous textile discount place. See link for crappy cellphone picture. Obviously, the pattern incorporates a logo (there is a teeny registered trademark sign inside each square), but I cannot place it.
Any ideas? Someday, it will be a bag or maybe a skirt and I'd like to know who or what I'm wearing.
Thanks!

Inexpensive or reasonably priced fabric (dressmakers) available online (retail). Either within Australia (or ships here - without costing a fortune!).
I'm after a bit of (cotton) broderie anglaise, lycra, some cotton drill and a rayon/cotton/stretch blend to be precise but.. whatever you've got - I'll take it!
