Looking for suggestions for tutorials on modern, easy, and soft-looking updo hairstyles. I've found plenty online but they are tailored for women with very thick hair-- but I have long straight hair that's very fine, and wouldn't work for most of those styles. Alternately (and it surprises even me that I'm asking this), are there clip-in or elastic-style hair extensions that you could recommend to help add some thickness to pull off a pretty updo?

I've got some JavaScript I want to turn into an extension (plug-in?) so it will always run for certain webpages for Internet Explorer, but because I've been using Chrome/Firefox for years, I don't know what search terms to use. Do you know of a simple how to resource? Grease monkey like alternatives aren't an option for me.

I hate intrusive facebook.
My favorite facebook blocker is 3 versions of firefox behind and doesn't appear to be actively updated anymore. What's more, with the latest redesign, FB has a new social plugin thing on other sites that I can't figure out how to block. What's the best way to keep facebook and its assorted APIs, plugins, sniffers, trackers and malware on its own damn webpage?

Is there an extension that lets use my own font choices in Chrone? Firefox has an option that doesn't let web sites choose fonts and I want something like that. There's one called Plainclothes and it does too many other things.

I have fine, thin hair (not thinning, just thin) and I want more. I am female, have almost shoulder length hair and was thinking about extensions. Will they look like obvious extensions in my fine hair? In order words, is my fine hair going to conceal where the extensions are put in? I've tried everything to get more fullness....products, different drying techniques, etc. Now I just want MORE hair. Help me!

i'm looking for a firefox extension that, when i highlight an in-text link (ex: http://www.google.com - one that is not hyper-linked) and drag it to the side, the link opens in a new tab. i don't want to have to drag it to the tab bar or a new tab button. i used to have an extension that allowed me to do this several versions of firefox ago, but i just can't seem to find it anymore. any thoughts?

Is there a Firefox (3) extension that will copy to the clipboard a HTML formatted link of the page I am currently on? The
Copy Link Text will copy a link to another page, but not for the page itself.
I would like to be on the website I want to link to, and have a link copied to the clipboard in the format

I'm stumped by Mozilla extensions. I cannot load any new ones. I get a notification that my settings are "locked," and to EDIT options. I've tried all the obvious things. I've turned on JAVA and everything on or off that I can think of - anything else I'm missing? I remember I once loaded something that allowed me to change some settings in Mozilla by accessing settings in a browser window as text - was it some setting I changed there?

Does anyone know of an extension or greasemonkey script that will count the number of characters in a text area, in firefox? I ask because I just had a ton of notes truncated because firefox limits the field to 4096 characters......! I've found some word counts, but no character counts.
