I'm taking 150 mg of Seroquel which has seemed to be helping. But i need to lose preexisting weight..about 40-50 lbs. All i read on the web are horror stories about people gaining 50-100 lbs even when they are doing cardio and weights. My question...anybody here either themselves or know people who have actually been able to lose weight while on seroquel if they followed the usual healthy eating and exercise 3-5 times a week?

Help me work out.

I'm a 24 year old guy who's very skinny and has never really worked out. However, by virtue of sitting behind a desk every day for the last couple years, I've developed some stomach flab. Besides that, though, still skinny as can be. I want to join a gym to accomplish a few things: - lose the stomach flab - get slightly bigger / more muscular elsewhere (tough since I'm so skinny…main area I'd like to improve are my arms) - get some stamina From what I know, the stamina part will come through cardio, but that'll burn a lot of calories and go against the whole 'getting bigger' idea. Would love for those with knowledge or experience to give me some ideas of what to do…machines to use, exercises to try, etc. Thanks.

Looking for women's plus-size cold weather exercise pants

I am looking for women's plus-sized (size 2X) cold-weather pants for walking my dog in the morning. I walk/run her for about 45 minutes (we are slowly doing Couch to 5K together). Specifically, I'd like to have something like these thermal running tights that are light, easy to pull on in the morning straight out of bed and will wick away moisture. Regular exercise and/or running tights aren't warm enough. Typical temps I walk in are down to 20F -- I'd like to be warm, but just not cold would be sufficient. Injured while working out with a personal trainer - Opinions?

Under the instruction of a personal trainer I strained my rotator cuff. A couple family members said that one of the reasons of having a personal trainer is avoiding this kind of thing and that I should find a different one. I'd never worked out or used equipment in a gym. The personal trainer was aware of that. He had me doing dips on a piece of equipment that kept my legs up and in front of me. I was definitely straining, he was pushing me to keep going and then my muscles gave out and I dropped. It didn't hurt right away, it was several hours later that the pain came so we continued the regimen. This was my third session, second working upper body. Should I get a different personal trainer or is this just something that happens and can be brushed off?
