How can I increase the intensity of my workout without making it longer? Complications: I can't run, lift, or swim. [more inside]

Too much, or just right?

Yesterday, I stepped up the intensity of my near-daily workout, and I'm really feeling it. I was ravenous all day yesterday, and particularly ravenous for the kinds of high-carb high-fat foods I've worked so hard to cut out of my diet. Also, I was very brain-tired; I was foggy and had trouble concentrating all day. Are these post-workout effects a sign of overdoing it, or of doing it right? [more inside]

Help me keep the baby weight off!
