Yesterday I started having sudden sharp pain and stiffness in my left knee, above and around the kneecap. I suspect I injured it doing squats and lunges (with bad form) the night before. Could it get better on its own, if I rest for a few days? Or should I see a doctor (and what kind)? [more inside]

I am getting soreness/discomfort in a strange place while doing squats: on the outside of my right leg only, 4-6 inches above my ankle. I'm returning to weightlifting after a year off with unrelated shoulder injury, and this happens with very little additional weight beyond just the bar. Should I be stretching, starting with less weight, or something else?

I've been having moderate hip pain for the last two days, and I'm not sure what caused it. Either way, I was wondering if the hive mind could suggest some good hip stretches or exercises that might help alleviate the pain, or at least keep it from getting worse. Thanks!

Back Pain - It's a weekend, and my chiropractor only works tue/thurs in my area filter.
I have no idea what I did to deserve this, but I went to the gym for the first time in 2 mos last wednesday (I had been going religiously m/w/f for 8 months working up my running.. i was doing 10 minute miles for 30 minutes before..) because I broke my toe at a company event. I did a decent workout (2.2 mi in 30 min, rest, stretch, then free weights). I felt fine afterwards - no pain, no problems at all. [more inside]

As part of my newly-expanded workout routine, I run/jog on a treadmill. I still have the problem I've had since childhood: what we used to call "stitches" - an internal pain in the side. How can I keep this from happening?
