I teach heated vinyasa flow yoga. In the past, I have not normally taught or practiced with music, but I recently started teaching at a couple of studios that expect music to be played during class. So I am looking for some good tunes. Difficulty level: I do not like typical "yoga music." [more inside]

I work from home, and I want to institute periodic dance breaks throughout my day, to force me out of my chair and pump me up a little, since I'm prone to desk hypnosis. Also, my dogs think it's awesome when we dance. [more inside]
I know there are songs I want on these playlists that I'm not remembering, and I'm constantly aware that I have blind spots that may be robbing me of perfect songs. Can you help me attack either issue by looking over one or both playlists then suggesting songs to add? [more inside]
I've been flirting with weightlifting on and off for awhile and figure with New Years' right around the corner there are plenty of people in the same boat of "this is the year I get abs!" Good pulse-pounding music is of course a big help, but I find songs with lyrics too distracting for work out time. Know any cool stuff without words? [more inside]

Please recommend music I can listen to while I run! The more intense, the better. Video game music often works, but I'm open to anything that makes me feel like I never want to stop. Examples of what I love best inside. [more inside]
Workout music has been covered aplenty on this site. But what about inspiring music videos to workout to?
So when working out on a cross-trainer like this I usually watch some of my favorite TV shows on my Ipod Touch. Yeah, I know, gotta update to a bigger better stronger device soon ;-) To get me pumped up a little more or to make it through the last gruelling climb, I regularly switch to music videos. And now I wanted to query the hive mind for some fresh suggestions. For more see some examples below. [more inside]
Great music for running? [more inside]
I'm looking for songs similar to James Brown Is Dead. I don't know a lot about techno but I stumbled on this one last year and it's the best all time workout song for me. I have it at the start and finish of my workout. I'd really like to find other songs with a similar beat and feel to them that I could purchase online.
Please help me be a superhero to my wife, who is in need of some specific music. [more inside]
Recommend me some music to run to. My current favorite album to run to is Justin Timberlake's FutureSex/LoveSongs: it's pretty good musically, a little cocky in the lyrics, and is paced perfectly, leading me to run between 8:15 and 8:45 miles. I'd appreciate any suggestions to provide variety, saving me from the embarrassment of having JT as my top artist on last.fm. [more inside]
