I am studying for the Real Estate Broker's exam for California. I am awful at studying in general, and have little to no real estate experience. I am not currently a Real Estate Agent. I've taken the test once, and didn't score so hot the first time and I'd like to take it only one more time. Anybody take it and pass and have some words of advice, such as study methods, programs, or books?

Okay, I have realised that for my English Literature exam on Monday I have spent most of my time revising Blake (1/2 of the exam) and next to no time with Hamlet (the other 1/2 of the exam) learning quotes, key themes etc - we have read the play in class twice, the last time being about 4 weeks ago. Any help to make this exam go as painlessly as possible? I realise I may already be a lost cause. [more inside]

What kind of commitment would it take? Official Schweiser prep course and CFA Institute time estimates (~250 hrs) are noted.

I am trying to break into the Linux Server Administration field so I have been doing quite a bit of studying lately. I figured while I am studying the subject I might as well work towards a related certification. I am leaning towards the Linux Professional Institute Certification. Other certifications I am considering are CompTIA’s Linux+ and Red Hat’s RHCE. So which Linux certification is the best? I would say Red Hat is the most reputable of these three but I am concerned that their certification might be too Red-Hat-centric, and I don't want to be locked into one distro. Which one is the easiest/cheapest to obtain? Which is the mostly highly regarded in the industry? Are there others that I missed?
