Other Fire + Water events in US??

MeFi, you've saved me in the past, asking you to come through again! I'm trying to find events very similar to WaterFire Providence, can be but does not have to be "art" project, but am looking for festivals that feature pylons in rivers, ponds, lakes, bayou on fire. Trying to set one up down here in Louisiana but not finding too much in the way of how to get started or if these events exist outside of Providence, RI and Sharon, PA (the only two places I found that host WaterFire events). Thank you!

Have you ever been to an event that had something really fun and cool, that got you to whip out your phone and take a photo, that made you go "wait, this is free?" An example from a party I've been to recently is having screen printers make t-shirts and tote bags for attendees from designs they chose right there in front of them. More examples inside. Socially conscious arts calendars in NYC?

Does anybody know if there is one website that aggregates all of the do-gooder/socially conscious arts happenings and events in NYC? Or if there is not one mega calendar, are there smaller ones devoted to a specific art form ie. socially conscious films, do-gooder theatre, etc...? Thanks!

Renting a multimedia space in L.A. for a one-night event

I'm the co-producer of over 30 short films that are intended for cell phone and internet distribution. Rather than rent a theater for the premiere, I'd like to have a space, such as an art gallery, that will house five to seven video stations where guests can sample these short videos at their leisure.
