I'm interested in backpacking through Europe. I have no job to tie me down at the moment, so I have all the time in the world to see as much as I possibly can.
How much should I expect to spend on a trip to Europe in a two week trip? And is it possible to see it all in two weeks, or should I plan for more?

A friend of mine is off to Europe for a month this fall and as she happens to have a birthday between now and then, I figured it would be a good idea to give her presents that might be useful on such a trip. Not having done it myself, though, I'm not sure what would be most useful.

How difficult would it be for a nineteen year old with one year of college, moderate work experience, a TEFL certificate and little to no European language ability to get a temporary work visa in the EU? I'm thinking Germany, specifically. I've checked out
this thread, but that seems to pertain mostly to becomig a citizen. I'm not looking to become naturalized or anything (though that would be nice), just find a menial job to support myself for six months or less. Note: I'm willing to accept "impossible" as an answer.

Myself and my fiance will be travelling in Europe later this year, and he needs a visa to visit pretty much anywhere. A colleague has mentioned that there is one Europe-wide (apart from Ireland and the UK) tourist visa available, which would save us the time and expense of getting six separate visas, but I can't find any info about this. Does it exist? If so, where do we apply? Or would an e.g. French visa be valid to visit Spain? Thanks.

I am a 28 year old American male. I completed two years of college between 94-96. I would now like to finish my bachelor's degree (Computer and Information Science, possibly something else, it depends) in another country. I speak Spanish fluently, but I prefer to study in English. I'm looking at Europe or Argentina (where my family's from). Are there any programs, schools, or things I should know and look into regarding programs taught in English? I also need to consider costs, visas, and admission. Please help, I need to get on with my life here, and YES, I'm sure I want to get a degree. Thank you!

How can I find an IT job in Europe? I have dual-citizenship, one for the US and another for Greece, but I've only been to the motherland a handful of times. What are some first steps just to get job listings? Does the fact that Greece is an EU member state give me advantages in applying for jobs in other EU member states? NotQuitePepsiBlueFilter: Vacationing in Europe, I was surprised and pleased by the flavor of Coca-Cola Light, which is not made with the same formula as the rather dire-tasting American Diet Coke. The drink tastes pretty much the same as Coke's new C2, but instead of that soda's bizarre half-sugar, half-sweetener compromise, the European Coke Light does it with no sugar or calories. Why they don't sell this stuff in America is truly beyond me.
Thing is, I'd like to import some -- and while imports of other (slightly stiffer) European beverages are common, I can't find anywhere locally or on Google who will sell it to Americans. Then again, my EU language skills are lacking. Anywhere I can have a 12-pack of this stuff shipped to me?
