What are some good job search websites/engines for Europe? I'm interested in jobs in international affairs, public relations, business and finance, advertising and marketing. I'm mostly looking for resources for Germany, Belgium, France and the UK, but pan-European websites are good too.

I'm looking for honest views/reviews of UK/European web hosting. I know it's easy to google, however there is so much spam and disinformation regarding hosting that I got sick of trying to find anything regarding it. I need your help! [more inside]

Is there a difference between US and European playstation games? I want to get games for my nephew and brother-in-law who live in Moscow but my sister says that games bought here (the US) will not play there. I have googled and asked at a bunch of stores and have gotten many different answers. Has anyone here had any experiences with this? [more inside]

Is there a euro-based alternative to PayPal? I'd like to get back into the on-line auction scene, but I don't want to have to deal in US$ because they're too all over the place.

Every manual transmission car I've ever driven makes a strange high pitched whining noise when going in reverse at more than about ten miles an hour. They don't make the same noise at the same revs in any forward gear. So why the difference? These are UK / European transmissions if that makes any difference.

Let's say you're spending three weeks in Europe late this summer. The first week is in Denmark, the third is in Ireland. Where would you spend the second? You'd like to go somewhere off the beaten path (in other words not Paris, London, or Amsterdam), but don't want to spend too much time in transit. You'd rather go somewhere rural than urban, you have a limited budget, and you'd prefer culture to castles and cathedrals. Any suggestions?

DVD question: I bought a European release of Frasier, season 1 - complete with subtitles etc. - but it seems like I'll have to buy seasons 2 -10 in the region 1 version.
Region compatibility is not an issue, but I wonder if "closed captioned" means that a DVD is subtitled, meaning: will I be able to get to those subtitles here in Europe, or do I need one of those hearing impaired set top boxes I've heard about (they seem to exist in UK and USA, maybe Canada as well)?
