What's your system when you need to update a ton of photos for listings using photoshop? What's the most efficient way to do this? Can I reduce this workload? [more inside]
I used Etsy Alchemy several times when it still existed, and it worked well. I know you can still do 1:1 custom requests of individual Etsy sellers (and have used it - it's a little hit and miss), however the old 1:many request system is what I'm looking for. Any decent websites like that around?
I am creating an online marketplace and want to keep costs and infrastructure to a minimum, at least in the initial stages of the project. I am yet to make up my mind about whether I should use Etsy as the ecommerce platform or not. [more inside]

I just bought this pin on Etsy (side and back view). It was listed by a Latvian seller who says it's a vintage Soviet-era item. This pin must have been a mass-produced item, since I saw one exactly like it on Etsy last spring, though someone else beat me to the purchase that time. I'm intrigued by the image of swans seemingly menacing a woman and her child, and I wonder if it perhaps references a Slavic folktale. A friend has suggested that it might be a Swan Lake reference, though to my mind it doesn't suit the narrative. Your thoughts and best guesses?

I have a picture of a quilt that was auctioned off, I'd like to have it made. Is there a way to request an item on Etsy? Click for pic, on Photobucket (I've asked the auctioneers who originally made the quilt, so I can go straight to the source. Haven't gotten an answer yet. My first choice would be to give my money / kudos to the original creator of the quilt.)
