Quitting a prestigious job I really enjoyed but grew incompatible with, starting a new one that has more promise, but is still an unknown. I've listened the hell out of Moody Blues' "Story In Your Eyes" and Simple Minds' "Don't You." What other songs capture the essence of a bittersweet ending and an exciting but uncertain future?

I thought I heard about an anthology that was endings to nonexistant Choose Your Own Adventure books. Or similar adventure gamebooks. I vaguely recall hearing about this through one of the fiction podcast places, so it might be a podiobook, not a dead-tree book. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Reconstructing myself - where to begin?
Last night my wife of 22 years announced that she and I were finished as a married couple. Now, at the age of 53, I find myself alone.
Presently, I am seeking the anonymity of a bunch of strangers because it doesn't seem hurt as much this way. A cross sectioning if you will. Besides, MetaFites are generally a younger bunch, and they may have a more optimistic perspective on this.

How do I find out the results of a trial?
Every so often you hear about a murder or crime or something and somebody gets arrested. But it seems like you rarely hear how it ends. For instance,
this one has bugged me for a long time. As much as I search, I just want to know what happened to the guys they arrested.
Where do people look for how things end?
