I'm looking for the correct musical/technical term (if such a thing exists) for that last part of a live song, where the band lingers on the last note(s) before ending it. We're all familiar with it: bass and guitar shredding, cymbals swelling, culminating in that final, sweet, satisfying crash. I'm asking because my band never seems to get it right.

Looking for another Movie Scene... A war movie with a good ending, specifically a scene that can be used to show:
1. the skills the soldiers or people learned will be used in their normal life or
2. that there will always be more battles to fight.

Looking for books with good ENDINGS. In finishing a book there are a lot of times where you are left thinking "wow, that was great... except that last 20 pages. Arrrgh." What books would you recommend with GOOD endings? I emphatically do not mean happy endings; some of the most pleasurable endings in my memory are ambiguous, or even clearly unhappy ("the bad guy wins").

I'm most likely over-thinking this, but I'm having trouble phrasing the email I need to send to a therapist I just started seeing letting her know that I've decided not to continue with her.

I got Kyle Baker's King David graphic novel from the library. In this copy, the very last panel is of David and Bathsheeba discussing their son's breathing. Is this really the end, or have previous patrons depaged the book? I can see it as a very somber, elliptical ending, but that's not really Baker's style, to me.

How does the movie Stuck on You end? Some friends went to see it recently. There was some technical problems with the projector, and they had to leave before seeing it. It's driving them crazy, but not crazy enough to sit through it again (If you haven't seen it yet, expect the thread to contain spoilers).
