I'm looking for a script (javascript?) that will place an "email this post" button after posts on my blog. Something similar to the way you can email news stories from Yahoo!, etc. For the love of God, help me. If possible, I'd like to get one with a captcha or some such security device, but not absolutely necessary. Link to my site is available through my name, above, if that helps. I should also point out that I am not a coder, I barely know the difference between Javascript and printing.

Riddle me this: there are two Windows XP computers (desktop and laptop) on the same Internet connection, behind the same router, connecting wirelessly to it. The laptop often (but not every time) takes a really long time (30 seconds+) to send email and connect to certain websites. The desktop never has this problem. What's going on? [more inside]

We're trying to build a web based, semi-automated careers referral program on the company website. We'd like employees to send specific job postings to friends via our website. I'm looking for a web-based email client: something I can pull in all my IMAP accounts with at one time (preferably into one merged inbox), something free (although I'm open to paid solutions as well), and either something remotely hosted (like web2mail, but with simultaneous access to multiple accounts) or a PHP/JavaScript/what-have-you solution I can install on my webserver. Any ideas?

I have a domain name "x" hosted by Cedant and get lots of email there. I also have qwest.net dsl service at home. I want to get my domain name email in outlook express at home. I know to do this I need access to a POP3 server from Qwest.net (right?). Qwest wants an extra $20 a month over the $50 I pay for DSL for this (thieves!) How can I get the mail from my domain host to my outlook express for free (ie is there a free POP3 server or something that allows me to bypass Qwest and the $20 shakedown?)

As a follow-up to this question, I'm looking for an online application that will let me set up a calendar and will email me daily reminders of the day's events. I need to do this online, because I move around a lot and am constantly using different PCs (so an Outlook/Eudora/Etc. solution won't work). I would like to be able to get a reminder the night before and one the morning-of. Google suggests there are several such services. Are there any really good ones? Bonus: Has anyone invented one that will phone you or leave your a text message?

My Knowspam.net subscription expired, good riddance. The lack of updates to the system made it rather annoying to use for most of this past year. I got about 75k spam emails this past year including the ones Knowspam couldn't catch, and spam assassin on it's own is not enough. Is there a better alternative?

Is there such a thing as a Web site where you can type in the name of a particular organization or domain, and find out what e-mail scheme they assign their employees? Let's say you're trying to locate John Smith at the fictitious Omni Product Corporation...then you could look up the company and find out whether they typically give out addresses that are "john.smith@omniproduct.com," "johnsmith@...," "js,"...etc.? I realize this sounds like a spam apocalypse, but it would be so useful.

So my mom needs to get e-mail (okay, okay... I need for my mom to get e-mail), but she doesn't want anything to do with the web ("Sweetie, if I need to look up something on the web, I can call you — you're online all day anyway.").

3com had an e-mail appliance, but discontinued it. WebTV is just plain creepy. She wouldn't do cell phone mail.

Any suggestions on an appliance?

My web host has been making some changes to the control panel and AWstats package. I've used Eudora for a year to send a receive pop3 emails via my site's mail server. Today, I can receive emails, but when I try to send them, Eudora tells me "550 Dynamic IP Address, see http://dnsbl.sorbs.net/cgi-bin/lookup?IP=82.36.30.80" - which goes here and baffles me. I've made no changes to my email account either on the site or in Eudora. They say they can't help. Can anyone?

I remember seeing a free disposable email service which showed a public stream of received mail to any of its addresses right on the front page, and another one which let you syndicate its inbound-mail stream? Does anyone remember these services? I can't find them.
