I have found someone who can build me a mobile phone out of a rotary dial telephone. But Sparkfun doesn't really have a one-stop shopping list. Help me decipher exactly what parts from this article i will need and also please recommend a good antenna I can use that will give me the best reception but also be cell-phone-tiny. [more inside]

I got a new job and it is quickly becoming apparent I need a PDA to get organized. At the same time, the last thing I want is something else to carry around as I need to keep a cell phone on me at work. Consequently, I went to the store to look at PDA/phone combinations. However, I didn't realize how many different types there are. So, instead of listening to somebody trying to sell me the newest version of x,y,z, I beseath thee for thy wisdom. [more inside]
