I am looking for non-mefi examples of someone disagreeing about the election in a civil manner. Not everyone in the discussion has to be civil, it is inspiring to see someone maintain their civility while others don't. I'm particularly interested in seeing civil Trump supporters - based on his numbers I'd like to believe they are out there. I feel like the Trump request is a good opening for some clever joke answers, but I'd really like to see some non-combative Trump supporters state their case!
Looking for live commentary on the 2012 presidential debate because I don't know much about politics. Suggestions?
Is there live internet streaming coverage of tonight's CNBC GOP debate? I can't seem to find the link. Thanks!
Where or how could one go about getting the proper transcript from the VP debate held last week. My big concern right now is that I need it in paper or electronic form but I do not want to watch the debate over and write down each question and each answer. And a trillion zillion billion points for finding a free an/or immediate copy.
Food suggestions for tonight's debate party? [more inside]
On behalf of my parents, where is a source that they can use to look up short and sweet responses to counter to the attacks on Obama leveled by their Republican neighbors? [more inside]
Last night's debate made me think of something I heard regarding Kerry's senatorial campaign strategy boiling down to banking everything on his endgame (it may have even been in the Blue, but good luck finding that...). Is that true? Can someone shed some light on his previous campaigns?
