Trying to remember the name of a book from my childhood. It was a colorful kids book of short stories that included one about an egg named Percy who sat out in the sun too long.

I need recipes that rely mainly on meats, non-starchy veggies, eggs and seasoning. No rice, gluten, wheat, fruit or sugars of any kind, though I can substitute sugar with liquid Splenda if necessary. Cheeses and nuts are only sparingly accepted. What should I make?

I've been a puking, painful sulfur factory for a month and a half. All my test results have been negative, and my GP is stumped. Wondering if anyone's experienced similar and can clue me in about what I have. Warning: Gross.

Half remembered craft article - a cute gift made with an egg. You pricked a normal egg, sucked the contents out, then bored a little hole in it. You could then roll up a nice little note or something, slip it in the hollow eggshell, then conceal the hole by making the egg spotted - sticking circular stickers on the egg including one covering the hole. I think the egg was also spraypainted gold. It was a pretty cute idea, anyone remember this?

Can-I-Eat-This-Filter, Thanksgiving edition. Assembled an apple pie tonight, planned to bake it tomorrow morning, but accidentally put the egg white wash on the top crust tonight. If I keep it in the fridge all night and bake it tomorrow morning, it won't kill anyone, right? The wash is just egg white thinned with a little water, and I didn't put very much on before realizing my mistake. Thoughts?

Now that I have a little extra money, how should I start saving it? (I don't have a 401(k)) For instance, what's an IRA and why should I care? Or what about
this thread talks about high-yield savings? Or
this one about index funds?
While I *am* young, I'm mostly concerned with creating a nest egg, not playing the stock market (read: I'm more interested in low-risk that will hopefully allow me to afford a family and eventually retire). Thanks!

My husband has been burping with a sulfur/rotten egg smell attached. He also complained about being very gassy. I looked on Google and every article posted was from 2004. This is only the second time in his 42 years that he has experienced this. It usually lasts for 1 week. He takes high blood pressure meds, with high cholesterol meds. He needs a fast remedy, any ideas. Right now he is taking Peppermint Gels w/ginger and fennel oils (2xday) Thanks.

Do you know any easy-to-make cookie (or just dessert) recipes that have no eggs? Bonus points if there are no ingredients that would require a trip to the grocery store (no buttermilk, no special chocolate, no fancy egg-substitute, etc.).

Bookfilter: my family had a book when all us kids were younger. It was an Easter book that told the story of all the different Easter bunnies delivering eggs, and how one bunny delivered one to a young boy sick in bed. Where can I find it?

How'd they cook that egg? I ordered a "fried egg, over hard," and was presented with a normal fried egg but with what looked to be the yolk removed. There wasn't a hole in the egg, but rather just the skin of the yolk laying flacid over where one would normally see yellow. Upon further inspection, the yolk was actually "sandwiched" between the two cooked sides (top side and bottom side) of the egg white surrounding the yolk hole. It wasn't a fluke, as I got two eggs like this with my order. What is this type of egg called and how'd they do that?
