I have a camcorder and Adobe Premiere. I'm working on this video project where I want to replace the movement of mouths and change up the dialogue from old movies. Something akin to these etrade commercials
(except, of course, not as technically tight). How can I most ably accomplish this?

I'd like to make a presumably simple video in the style of a series of opening credits for a tv show. What's my cheapest way to do it, and how? [more inside]

When I import an AVI video file I recorded on a Canon digital camera to Adobe Premiere Pro, it only shows up as a still picture with audio. Why does it do this and how can it be solved? [more inside]

I'm new t Adobe Illustrator. Where the heck are all the built in vector shapes in Adobe Illustrator 10? Even PowerPoint has tons of premade shapes ready to go. Why do I only get a rectangle, oval, polygon, and some other freaky looking thing? Help?

Photoshop CS (OSX) books for almost-beginners: I'm hearing good things on "Photoshop CS Bible" by Deke McClelland.
Photoshop CS (OSX, too) for professional photographers: I'm hearing good things on "Adobe Photoshop CS for Photographers: Professional Image Editor's Guide to the Creative Use of Photoshop" by Martin Evening.
Any other suggestions? thanks

Best way to rip video from a DVD into MPEG or AVI? I need to grab scenes from a movie and monkey with them in Premiere (Windows).
