Open source alternative to MagicZoom or Magneto ProZoom?

Are there any good open source product viewers? I'm trying to build a very simple site with that has a products section. I'd like to display a few views for each product, and the tools I've found so far are magic zoom and Magneto, but both cost a bit. I'm not opposed to paying, if these are the best, but given how many lightbox clones there are, I can't believe there isn't something opensource and better. Has anybody used these tools, or found better alternatives?

We need to convert a pdf catalog to a flash flip book (ie this. No problem. however, the client wants to have it set up so that when the viewer clicks on an item, that item gets added to a cart, and then when the viewer is done, the cart list gets emailed to a distributor for a price quote. I've spent the afternoon searching, but I'm not finding anything that looks like what we need. Any ideas?

What is the most efficient way to migrate an Actinic ecommerce website to Magento?

What is the most efficient way to migrate an Actinic ecommerce website to Magento. I have a clean install of Magento and an existing Actinic website (around 3000 products). I thought maybee do a product export from Magento to a CSV then do the same from Actinic then manually copy content from the Actinic CSV to the Magento CSV. But having looked at how Actinic exports its data (in rowed sections) it appears to be very time consuming... so my question is there a better way or more efficient way of doing this?

Data And Money Exchange

I need my customers to send me confidential data with a payment. I work for a regulatory agency that currently collects applications in paper based form with a physical signature including a check for payment. We would like to implement a industrial strength 'e-filing' solution. Where do I start? My Google-Fu and Delicious-Fu are failing me. I need to find information on 2009 best practices for capturing data ( e-forms, rest, edi ), identity management, security ( digital certs, etc ), and payment gateways ( direct debit, credit cards ). I also need to know what vendors are leading in these spaces. I am not really looking for a 'e-commerce' solution. I am looking for a 'secure electronic forms submission with payments and non-repudiation' solution. My company would need to host this in our data center. I would like to offer my customers multiple ways to submit and pay.
