Help me deal with subclinical... everything...

Despite all my efforts and success(!) in treating myself well and recovering, I feel like my anguish over this sexual assault that happened to me over a year ago still subtly manifests itself in many aspects of my life. And it is precisely the "subtle," diffuse nature of these symptoms that makes me uncertain as to how best to proceed. Details inside. [more inside]

Eating disorder recovery

Around 2 weeks ago I decided to actually properly recover from my eating disorder. And I am hoping that some people here with relevant medical knowledge or personal experience might be able to give me some advice on how to proceed and information on what I can physically expect, as the information given online is often very contradictory. I live in a rural area (UK) and have had very negative experiences with the local medical professionals/counselling services (I also get the impression that most GPs will not be very well informed anyway) so I am attempting to do this very much on my own. Remember an early 2000s blog called Greybox or Greysquare?

Helping help a friend find an old blog. Here are the details she remembers: A guy. Blogging around 2000 - 2001. Posts were often confessional, inimate accounts of his torturous relationship with his girlfriend, who had some sort of eating disorder. He lived in San Francisco much of this time, but eventually moved to (possibly) NYC. The blog may have been called the Grey Square or the Grey Box. Not much to go on, but maybe it will ring a bell with someone?

How do I refute a preexisting condition for an eating disorder?

I was rejected for individual health insurance with Kaiser Permanente in Southern California due to the preexisting condition of bulimia. I have been told by Kaiser that I can appeal the denial by providing evidence that I have resolved the bulimia. The issue is I do not have much evidence and Kaiser gave me very little direction on how to proceed. If any of you have had experience with this, what type of information did you provide and how did you obtain it? [more inside]
