What are some good TV series released to DVD to buy for a friend on bedrest? [more inside]
About 15 years ago, a good friend gave me a great 3 panel poster for a film."Love Slaves of the Amazons" was made in 1957. I have never been able to find it on DVD. I have googled it, searched many sights (including eBay) but have yet to find it anywhere. My search has lasted for 3 years. Any tips on where to find obscure DVDs? or even a real film. Cost is irrelevant.

I'm looking to pick up a TV series on DVD. I'm fine with buying used DVDs, but some eBay sellers worry me. I see folks who offer the same collected sets, using the same pictures, and the whole set is selling for significantly less if I bought the seasons individually. Are they trustworthy? Or am I unaware of large discount sales where these people might get their stock? More queries inside. [more inside]

Seeking DVD sleeves in the Sydney CBD area - anywhere I can buy inexpensively and in bulk? [more inside]
I've just bought a Sony Bravia 40" LCD TV. I'm interested in what others here think are the optimal settings for viewing HDTV? And, while we're at it, for watching DVDs, as I'm sure that HDTV would benefit from different settings than DVDs would. I think I have the settings pretty much as good as I can get them, and I recognise that different settings suit different people, but I would be interested in what other Bravia owners think are the best settings for optimising their picture quality.
I have never seen "Babylon 5," but intend to watch the series via Netflix. However, I'd like to watch the DVDs in chronological order. I believe through a bit of research that I've sorted the discs into chronological order, but would appreciate any die-hard Babylon 5 fans' corrections. The order I'll be putting them in is in the "[more inside]" (Similarly, if said fans see any major problems in watching them in this order, I'd appreciate a non-spoiler heads-up.) [more inside]
