Will I be getting subtitles and French on this DVD I just ordered? Is it English with an accent? Can someone explain what this is and if there is an option to turn the subtitles off - in case they're there? Thank you

I can't find it on YouTube or any torrent sites, and can't find any taped copies on eBay. Help me hivemind! How do I get to see the end of this great show?

What's the easiest way to take a bunch (between 150 and 250) of photos and create a DVD of a slideshow of those photos and set some background music using a few mp3 files? I'm using Windows 7. I'd like it to be playable on a standard non-computer DVD player.

Kid stuck a piece of duct tape to the back of a DVD (technically, Wii Optical Disc), best way to clean the glue off?
My (very basic) DVD player is connected to my (also very basic) TV with RCA cables. My laptop plugs into my TV with an S Video cable (so I can watch Netflix streaming, etc). The problem: if the S Video cable is plugged in (even if the laptop isn't connected on the other end) the TV won't recognize the signal coming from the DVD player. My solution is to simply unplug the S Video cable when I want to use my DVD player, but ideally I'd like to keep it plugged in and have some sort of switching mechanism. Is there such a product and if so, can someone provide a link? Thanks!

I'm looking for a robust mac program to rip ISO images from DVDs. I have some discs that have minor scratches; while they play fine (with minor skips) in DVD Player, the ripping programs I have tried so far give me an error message and abort when they encounter these spots on the disc. I've tried both the disc image function in Disk Utility as well as Disco. Are there other (free) programs that will be less easily panicked?
일 박 이 일, Il Bahk Ee Il, with English subtitles? While I was in Korea, I loved watching Il Bahk Ee Il with my brother. I'd like to find DVDs (ideally) or other video sources of the show, but ones that I can understand. For that, I'd like English subtitles. Where should I look? (If I can find it before my brother, I'll buy it for him—if it's only available in Korea, he'll buy it for me.)
Since Handbrake 0.9.4 seems to have gotten rid of the .avi/Xvid option, is there anyway to rip a DVD so it will play on a divx etc enabled player? If you have the time, I would appreciate a step by step breakdown. Much appreciated! (and thanks way back when for figuring out how to do this on the older Handbrake).
