Not-so-smart-phone filter: I'm looking for a Sprint-compatible cellphone with a full keyboard and the ability to read/send email. The catch is, I don't need (and actively
don't want) more internet access than this; I'm already too connected as it is! Does a phone like this exist? Or is there a way I can juryrig one, as someone who's only half tech-savvy? Am I doomed to a flip-phone and a separate pocket email-reader thingy?

I'm looking for a (Verizon) dumb phone that will silence the ring when any exterior button is pushed.

I want a simple, dumb cell phone. Calling and texting are essential, number directory is semi-essential, clock + date are okay -
everything else I'd rather not have.

I'm mostly happy with my
Nokia 2330 (weeklong battery life, ultraslim and light candybar, disappears in my pocket, holds up to light abuse), but am getting tired of the slow messaging. The inbox and other sections/menus take forever to load, and I seem to type faster than the phone's little processor can handle. If the messaging was speedier, it would be perfect. But it isn't, and I'd like to upgrade. What should I be looking at next? I'd like to keep the features I like, but have a speedier phone. I only text and (barely) call. I will be prepaid with AT&T or T-Mobile.

I would like to use TweetMyMac to send iSight pictures to me via MMS. Unfortunately, all it actually does is text a link to a Twitpic page, rather than MMS-ing the picture to me, and I can't follow links from my internet-less non-smartphone.

I'm thinking about buying the
Sonim XP3. Does anyone here own one or know someone that does? Asking primarily because I'll have to order it online; the only store carrying it is on back order and I can't futz with it before buying.
