All other things being equal, does a short person's blood alcohol level reach 0.05 faster than a tall person (because they have less blood and/or a smaller liver)?

I'm interested in the origin and propagation of this particular trope: Extremely drunk driver, with bottle of booze in the car, gets in a crash, possibly killing someone, with plenty of witnesses. The driver, either on his own initiative or after calling someone (perhaps a lawyer) for advice, gets out of the car and starts publicly drinking great volumes from the bottle.

Someone had sex with me even though I said "no" multiple times, but I was drunk and my memories of the event are completely foggy, especially the moment of penetration. This happened several months ago and I have been completely ignoring it, but in the past few days told my partner and now feel completely confused. What do I call this? Is this rape or a confused moment that turned nonconsensual by accident? Especially confused about how to interact and think about the other person involved.

I have a neighbor on my block that seems to be an alcoholic. Every couple of weeks, I see him driving slowly down the block, pull into his drive way and drunkenly stumble up the stairs in the middle of the day. I don't care if he drinks all day long, but I am concerned that he drives drunk. There are lots of small children that live on our street, including mine and I don't want a drunk driving around. So far, I've only seen him coming him drunk and at that point it's too late to call the cops. I don't know him personally, so confronting him does not seem like a good idea. What can I do, short of a staking him out at the bar? I'd rather not entertain the idea of car vandalism.

A few years back, my friend Russell (mid-twenties, American, white, male) was in Scotland, at a bus stop. It was late at night, he'd been drinking, and some guy (mid-twenties, British, white, male) came up and angrily asked him "Are you of Scottish descent?" Russell raised his hands and eyebrows in a confused "Whoa, no idea what you're on about" gesture and said, "Buddy, you got the wrong guy." The man then punched Russell in the face.

I had a fantastic idea, years ago, which Google has recently implemented (where I have not). They call it
Mail Goggles. My idea was a safe to store your bottles in that would have a sort of Simon-type game built in, to unlock it. If you were too buzzed, no entry.

Is there a plugin or AppleScript for Apple Mail that would popup a simple dialog box that says "Are you
sure you want to send this message?" I send far too many messages that I probably would have edited (or scrapped) with 2 seconds of reflection (drunk or otherwise.) Not to mention all the times an itchy trigger finger fires off a message while forgetting the attachment.
(i.e. please help save me from myself.)

There are two beverages that nearly every American adult seems to like, but I dislike both: coffee and beer. I would like to develop a taste for both of them. For morning caffeine, coffee's free at most workplaces whereas pop isn't; and beer is a cheap mood alterer; but more importantly, both are social lubricants, one that isn't achieved by drinking a soda while others get either awake, buzzed or drunk. It's been a while since I had either, but remembering the tastes, I think it's that I dislike the bitterness in each drink.
