I don't drive and I need to figure out how. I'm in my thirties and have never had a license. I failed the driving test when I was 16 and just never found a reason to try again until now. I'm looking for recommendations of driving schools in the Middlesex and Monmouth County who welcome late-to-life drivers or just advice for the same.

How can I rent a car for a CA driving test?

I've got a foreign license, don't own a car and need to take the California driving test. All the rental car companies I've spoken to won't rent out their car for use in driving tests. This, even though I already have a foreign license and can legally drive here [for now]. How does one get a car for a driving test without owning one? Borrowing from friends isn't an option unfortunately.

Tips and advice for someone taking the New South Wales Driver Qualification Test? I'm retaking the NSW Driver Qualification Test to progress to my full licence tomorrow.

I failed the Hazard Perception part of the test the first time, and I'd really like to nail it this time around to avoid more expensive resitting fees!

Unfortunately the RTA couldn't provide specific feedback regarding which questions or scenarios I screwed up. I also couldn't find any practice Hazard Perception questions on the RTA website. I'd be grateful for tips and advice from MeFites who have successfully passed this test.

Driver's Test Screwups

So I'm 27 years old and taking the road test to get my (New Jersey) driver's license this week. Since most everyone I know took it, oh, about 10 years ago, I'm feeling a bit nervous when it comes to the little details of the test. If I mess up parallel parking, I can't make a single other error; so tell me, mefites, what did you screw up on while taking your driving test?
