What are the liquor laws in New York State? I tried looking on the NYS common law page, but I couldn't understand them. I am 20 years old, and therefore cannot purchase alcohol. If I were to make my own wine using this method, would it be legal? Does the Law cover production and consumption of liquor, or does the "drinking age" just cover the sale of alcohol? I know that it is legal to make small quantities of alcohol for your own personal use, but I don't know about the age thing.

I do a bit of drinking, and I'm looking for a new toast. "Panties: Not the best thing in the world, but right next to it." is what my friends use, but it's getting a little old. Any suggestions? (Witty and sublime both appreciated)

I'm a huge fab of Conundrum, a white blend wine lately out of Caymus Vinyards. However, here in Boston the suggested retail price of 24$ for a bottle of the '02 is more commonly 30+$. Also, local liquor stores rarely stay in stock. As someone who enjoys a bottle of wine with dinner and saving a few bucks, is there any other similar white (blend or otherwise) you can recommend for 10$-15$ or less? Or if you can find a cheap source of Conundrum outside of NH State Liquor Stores, please let me know!
