ISO Lakka (Finnish cloudberry liqueur). No one seems to import it into the U.S. Does anyone know a U.S. source or a European place that will ship to the U.S.?

AlkaFilter: I have about a dozen vintage glass seltzer bottles. (We had a seltzer guy who came until about five years ago, and never picked up the last batch of bottles.) I'd like to refill/recharge them, but the only knowledge I have is that CO2 canisters exist for this purpose (though maybe not for this type of bottle?). Without a factory or ancient tools, do you think there might be a way to achieve this goal?

I'm trying to cut down on my sugar intake. The hardest part has been cutting out sugary (or corn-syrupy) drinks. I'm wondering if anyone can suggest some additional drinks to try. [more inside]

. Does anyone know where in Ontario I can find it? [more inside]

What do you drink with your lunch/dinner? I'm trying to cut Pepsi out of my life (again) and serving dinner with water seems too bland.

I have noticed that several softdrinks have tasted salty to me lately?? Anyone experienced anything like this? Maybe my tasted buds are going through a change, but I haven't noticed any difference in food tastes...

OK, head management question ... Kids away, new man, gift bottle of Absinthe from Parisian friends. Is it the 'right' nectar for a romantic evening? We are, um, experienced drinkers dying to try it ... on the other hand, we want to create the right, you know, buzz. Will this do it? How do we cook it?

After living in New York for 5 years, I'm finally moved to ask this question: Why, when I buy a can or bottle of soda, do I invariably get a straw with it? [bubbles inside] [more inside]

Italian pop drink
, fizzy, dark, citrus-y, a little bitter, comes in a little caramel bottle. Made from some citrus-y herb that's neither lemon nor lime. I had one at a gelato place once and have no idea what it is or what its called. [more inside]
