I need more tv shows to watch. Specifically, shows which fit the 60 minute drama model. Shows which are best viewed from season one, episode one, and build upon characters and situations.

Sort of a two-part question, though answering the first part will help me answer the second. First, does anyone know of a (preferably online) way to search for plays by topic or subject matter? Searching for title keywords is sometimes useful but not ideal, and I haven't been able to make the search functions at the major playhouses' websites play nicely either. Second, in particular, I'm looking for plays about, referencing, or otherwise related to fire, smoke, etc. Any thoughts on either?

I'm directing a farce with a bunch of high-schoolers, and would love to give them some movie suggestions to look at for characters. They are pretty classic comic archetypes, but my brain is reeling a bit trying to think of all of them, and though I'd put it out to the hive mind. The only catch is that I can't really suggest any R-Rated movies, because most of them aren't old enough to watch them...

With the holidays coming I find my inability to tolerate some family members and listen to the inane chatter that fills the room. I am often visually unhappy about the situation. How can I tolerate such gatherings in a way that at least makes it appear I'm not so unhappy? (Bonus points if I'm ACTUALLY not so unhappy).

Oh, the drama!! Recommend me diálogos en español, please. I'm interested in easy, two-person, not-so-long (~3 minutes out loud) non-risqué dialogues. Preferably, they were originally written in Spanish, and have some emotion in them. Realistically, I should be able to find them online, because I have no access to Spanish language books. (Spanish-language resources are ok to recommend; it needs to be easy for the person learning from me.)

ElizabethanDramaFilter. I'm considering doing a PhD (because apparently I'm a masochist who doesn't have

Elizabethan Revenge Tragedy, 1587-1642 from around 1940. Does anyone know of something similar that was written in the last fifteen years or so?
