Passing on old (but useful?) computer books in the UK

The question has been asked before, but not specific to my location - I'm in London, I'm moving and need to create space, have a whole bunch of computer & programming texts, they are arguably useful to someone, how do I find that person or organization? [more inside]

paying it forward

Today I acquired a Kindle 4. Yay! Now I have 400+ books I'd like to donate. I'd give them to the library but I know they regularly have clear-outs, and I'd like the donation to help as much as it possibly can to people who need it the most. Any ideas where they should go?
