Hey, the theater I am part of is going on tour this September. In order to make this possible we need to book some dates around the nation and Canada. Can anyone recommend some of the great DIY venues [warehouses, galleries, theaters, infoshops, communes] that we might be able to perform at on tour? [more inside]

A Very Special Scanning Negatives Query

StupidQuestionFilter: I have a disposable camera, I would like to open the camera up and scan the negatives into a computer. Is that possible, or is some processing necessary before the negatives are physically reminiscent of the pictures you took... I know nothing about cameras. Should I just spend 5 dollars to get them developed elsewhere or is the DIY route possible? [more inside]
