How do i deal with my boyfriends distance and communication issues?

My boyfriend cancels so often on our dates, and we haven't had sex even though we have been together for half a year, which makes me think he could have a sexual problem or is afraid of getting close to me. Details inside. [more inside]

Comunication and distance issues don't mix well

Bf wants me to spend more time in his hometown, whereas I feel uncomfortable sleeping at his place-the best/if not only solution in his book-, which leads to me turning down his offers to spend time with his friends and family, and him resenting me for it more and more, bringing each of this instances up everytime I say 'no' to an offer of his, which, in turn, makes me feel like I have to accept said offers or face consequences, which of course doesn't make me want to do those things more. How do I fix it? [more inside]

What does my camera do with the distance information?

I'm looking at buying a used Nikkor lens to use on my D80 (and on whatever the next body I buy is when I finally retire that body). For many of the older lenses you can get a significant savings by buying the version of the lens that does not send distance info to the camera (non-D version). How much do I care? [more inside]

Give up on long distance friendships?

I moved cross country 4 years ago. It's hard to stay in touch with my friends from back there, and I know people move on and away from friends at times. But I'm thinking I should stop trying to keep a connection with them after an email I sent asking for encouragement was ignored. [more inside]

How to handle loved one going on tour?

My fiancé is going on tour in support of a major pop act. This means consecutive three-month absences for the next year (maybe two) as she performs. This is her calling and her art and I support it 100%. Still, I dread her long absence and I am going to miss her as fiercely as I love her. I'm looking for ways to maintain our strength, equality, and communication, and to stave off problems that must arise. Particularly advice, anecdotes, and specific things that helped your (similar) relationship - or hurt it.

Crush Limbo

Last week I hooked up and fell for a woman on a trip. She's moving to a nearby city in December (she lives very far away now). I've been thinking of moving there for unrelated reasons. Focus Interruptus

I'm in a new relationship, long distance. We skype almost daily. Often, mid-convo, I can tell his attention is on something else. Turns out he's flipping through Reddit. This makes me feel hurt, b/c he's not listening to me. When I suggest we end the convo and talk the next day, he says, "No, no! I'm done! I'm done!" Then I feel like a nagging mom, policing his behavior. What should I do? [more inside]

How to get to the same place in a medium distance relationship?

I live in a major east coast city and my boyfriend of almost two years lives in a much smaller city 2.5 hours away in another state. We are both in our late 20s. We see each other almost every weekend - he has a car, and I take the bus. We have lived like this for the entirety of our relationship. Our relationship is great and we're very happy together - we agree we want to live together, get married and have kids. We've known this from pretty early on in the relationship, but have always struggled with figuring out how to close the distance gap. At the New Year, we agreed that by the end of this year we would have figured out how to be in the same place if we were not there already, but the same arguments are flaring back up. [more inside]

Finding out where a cell call is coming from

I have been getting annoying and possilby disturbing calls from an old friend. I looked up the number and it's registered as a cell phone with an out of state area code. However, since it is a cell, the person could still be placing those calls from the local area. I called my phone provider and unsuprisingly, they couldn't help. Is there another way to find out the physical location of the caller?

Area manager territories and regions

We have five area managers who look after a number of sites each (about 10) spread throughout the UK. How can I visually represent this on a map that shows the illogical (or logical) spread of their site distribution (from a distance perspective) Sub comment: I'd also like to be able to esimate the distances travelled if they visit each site x days per year and show the most efficient site per manager. Suggestions for this would be great too.
