Fold flat paper Sunglasses

Where could I buy paper glasses that could act as decent sunglasses? Polarizing glasses (for 3d movies) would be close, I just need them to be darker.

What are the best disposable phone options?

What are the best disposable phone options? I need something cheap and easy to last me until June. I prefer not to pay for a phone, and I obviously don't want any sort of contract. The cheaper the better. I have seen stories about those phones that you can literally throw away after you are done -- do those really exist?

Beyond the pink daisy shaver...

I need a razor that won't get clogged with hair. I've combed (har har) through all the Ask Metafilter questions about razors, shaving, etc, but did not find the answers I seek.

I'm a female who lets my body hair grow longer than most do. The reason for this is, if it matters, is because my body hair (legs, underarms, etc) is not only fairly coarse, but also grows quickly. To keep things smooth would require a campaign of daily shaving sessions which I do not have the energy for.

When I do shave, which happens anywhere from 1-5 times per month, I find most disposable razors get clogged from hair fairly quickly and the hair doesn't come out, it just gets stuck in there and can't be rinsed out. Is there a better method of doing this? Am I doomed to using a whole package of razors to get the job done? Are there any razors that you know of that are designed so that the hair shaved doesn't get trapped in the little crevices? It made me wonder about men shaving their body hair, as they generally have much more...how do they cope with this problem?

I understand that alternate methods like waxing, electrolysis and chemical depilatories might be a solution for others but for my own various reasons I have already ruled these methods out. I'm mainly looking for a razor designed to deal with longer hair or some other shaving solution I have not thought of. Thanks for your help.

Can I store disposable contacts in water or daily cleaner overnight with no ill effects?

Can I use water to keep disposable contacts overnight? After two years wearing glasses, I switched back to wearing contacts. I went last week, and am wearing a pair of Acuvue Hydroclear for a week to see how well my eyes work with contacts again. My checkup is on Friday, and I'll get my year's supply then.

I went away for the weekend, and left my complimentary case & saline solution there. The last two nights I've slept with my contacts in without any negative signs, but I want to take them out tonight. I stopped by a shady pharmacy on my way back, and accidently picked up daily cleaner instead of saline solution. Can I store my contacts in water or this Alcon Opti-Free Daily Cleaner, or am I stuck sleeping with the contacts in again tonight?

A Very Special Scanning Negatives Query

StupidQuestionFilter: I have a disposable camera, I would like to open the camera up and scan the negatives into a computer. Is that possible, or is some processing necessary before the negatives are physically reminiscent of the pictures you took... I know nothing about cameras. Should I just spend 5 dollars to get them developed elsewhere or is the DIY route possible? I checked to see if this was previously posted and it doesn't seem that anyone is as stupid as me.

Recommend good deals on disposable phones in the UK & France.

European disposable mobile phones: My parents, who are American, are going to Edinburgh, London & Paris later this week. They've asked me what I know about disposable/rentable phones since their phones won't work over there. I know nothing. So now I'm asking all of you: What do you know about good deals on disposable/rentable phones in the UK & France? (I believe they're looking to use the phones for a period of 7-10 days, and if it makes things simpler I think they are willing to do without during the French portion of the trip if necessary)

What is the difference between 1-day contacts, weekly-wear contacts, and monthly-wear contacts?

What is the difference between disposable or 1-day contact lenses, weekly-wear contact lenses, and monthly-wear contact lenses? Are they really manufactured differently? I ask because I don't understand why in the world one cannot clean and sterilize daily-wear disposables so that they last a week or more (which would save me mucho greenbacks).

Are there disposable or pre-paid credit cards?

Is there such a thing as a disposable credit card? I'm thinking something along the line of pre-paid phone cards. Or maybe like the swipe cards they use at Kinko's (where you can continually add more credit as you need it by inserting it into a special vending machine). Seems like these would be natural products to offer and I can't imagine I'm the only one it has occurred to. I'd be MUCH more apt to buy online with something like this – particularly the small stuff (ie: buy an article from a newspaper archive, lookup a word at the OED site, do a single search at Lexis/Nexis, toss Matt an occasional pizza, etc.)

Pay-as-You-Go cell phones

Does anyone have experience with those cell phones that have a certain number of minutes - you buy them without a separate account, and once you use up the minutes you're done. (I tried to search on this but the terms are all part of ordinary cell phone descriptions.) Is it a good deal? Is there some hidden catch? Someone said they'd checked it out, but the minutes had to be used up in a given time span, like a month. I want to just have a cell phone for emergencies and don't want to pay on an ongoing basis. Anybody else come up with a way to do this?
