We can't boot into Windows XP, except in VGA mode, without the screen going black after the Windows XP "loading bar screen"; we can still hear everything, though. This is on an Intel iMac running Boot Camp, and the Mac side (Leopard) works fine, which leads me to believe this isn't a problem with hardware. [more inside]

Help! I've just reinstalled Windows XP, and now my computer doesn't recognize that I have a monitor in the Device Manager, which means I can't install drivers, which means my screen in currently in 4-bit colour mode. Which is really not going to sit well with my family if I can't fix it. [more inside]

I used to have a little software application that would assess my hard drive and display a colorful pie graph of folders and subfolders, so that it was very easy to visually determine the location of the file bulk. Does anyone remember what I'm talking about? Bonus points for freeware.

I'm a self-admitted computer freak, and I primarily run Windows XP. On average, I have at least 5 windows open. I have a 20" flat panel, and I want to display multiple programs at once in a simple fashion. Is there software that can do this? Or should I, as I'm planning to do now, purchase another monitor?

I have a Dell flat panel (2001FP) that is beautifully crisp with my PowerBook (DVI) but woefully blurry and sad-making with my Windows 2003 box (VGA). Any tips?
