You mean I have to pay you, for you to charge me less?

How do I tell if a "Discount Club" is worth it? An online retailer I use somewhat frequently has the option to join a discount program where you pay $49.99 (yearly) and in return, you get 10% off (almost) everything in their catalog, a lower target for free shipping, and a couple sales a year where you get 15% off.
I know that in order to break even, I'd have to buy $500 worth of stuff (maybe a little less due to shipping). Adding up the cost of supplies for an upcoming project (that I was going to do anyway) has me coming close to this magic number, but the little nagging voice in my head is saying that's not such a great deal. Am I wrong on that?

AAA - more than roadside service?

What practical uses, besides roadside service, have you used your AAA membership for? I asked for and got a AAA membership for Christmas. I wanted it mainly for the roadside service, which came in handy just yesterday for a dead battery. I know there are other benefits to AAA, like hotel discounts, free road maps, etc. Browsing around the AAA website, I found out that I can get a 10% discount from target.com! There are a TON of discounts listed on aaa.com. Which benefits do you actually use? Which are a waste of time? Does anyone know any "secret" AAA savings? I have "Plus" membership if that makes a difference.

Can I get a cheap flight by purchasing a ticket connecting in my actual destination?

Flying from Edmonton to Toronto: $285 on flight AC172. Flying Edmonton to Newark via Toronto(AC172): $258.
I only have carry-on luggage. Is there any reason why I can't buy the ticket to Newark and just get off in Toronto?
In addition, the flight from Edmonton->Toronto->Newark is a Tango Plus flight, which is a class ABOVE the $258 Edmonton->Toronto flight. If I wanted to fly Tango Plus from Edmonton->Toronto, it would cost me $332.

There must be a way!!! How can I actually get a deal for Disneyworld tickets? Going to Orlando March 10 with my wife and 5 year old daughter. I hate paying retail, like Kramer says, "retail is for suckers".

Like idiots we are going in prime season which means expensive flights (already booked) and I am renting a house via craigslist to save and to have a full kitchen to save on meals.

But I can't get over the fact I can't save $$ on disney world passes. ebay is thwarted due to finger print scanning on any tickets half used, but there has to be a way!

If it was up to me I'd skip the whole trip but there are others here who are demanding it.

Thanks in advance for your help!

How soon in advance to purchase airline tickets to get cheapest flights?

How far in advance, or how close to the time, is the most advantageous time to purchase airline tickets in order to get the cheapest fares? For instance, if I were planning to travel in early August, and it's late April now, should I buy my ticket now, or should I wait until closer to the time (and how close is the "sweet spot")? Are there risks of the price going up substantially (more than $100)? This refers to U.S. travel (SEA-ATL in this case), traveling mid-week, with a weekend stay.
