I made my Christmas gift list early, and I'm looking for a way to watch for sales on this specific list of items between now and early December without having to check every sale flyer for every possible store every week. Does this exist as a web service or an app? [more inside]
Can I trust that the All-Clad pots and pans I bought at TJ Maxx yesterday are the real deal? At the time, I felt like I'd struck gold. Now I'm worried it's the fool's kind. They didn't come with any box, warranty card, or inspection card, and were absurdly cheap compared to everything I can find online--including irregulars. I'm going insane. TJ Maxx wouldn't sell counterfeits, right? [more inside]
So long story short, my macbook's screen cracked out of warranty and I don't want to fork up the money to fix it. I am planning on nabbing a laptop from Costco, but their selection is... sparse, to say the least. Help me nab the best one! [more inside]

I want to travel with my SO to any foreign country that I haven't yet been to. Is there any website or way to search for any international destination originating from Guangzhou China and sort by price? I'd also be up for last minute deals, and a HUGE bonus would be if we could have a several day "stop over" in a transfer city. Any other tips or ideas for cheap international travel originating in China will be helpful. (We are already aware of the train to hanoi, and train to Lhasa Tibet)

Is there some legitimate way to get discounts for software like Ableton Live or Photoshop? I was thinking I could take some online courses and get an educational discount this way. Any suggestions for such courses? Or other suggestions?
I'm a member of a few different groups that periodically put together a bulk orders from wholesalers as a way to get a discount and also to bring products to our small island community that are hard to get otherwise. I'm managing one of these groups, and am finding that as it grows the amount of time spent keeping track of everybody's orders, calculating how much everyone owes, and dividing up the order after it's been received, has been increasing with each larger order. I've incorporated spreadsheets and a mailing list into my process but it still involved a great deal of manual processing. I've started writing some scripts to help out as well, but it occurs to me that others doing this must have faced these problems as well. I've tried some googling but haven't found much information out there, so I'm wondering how the rest of you do this. [more inside]

I'm looking for a discount online glasses shop like Zenni Optical that sells prescription sunglasses with really dark tint. I bought a couple of pairs from Zenni with 80% tint (the darkest option), and they're not quite cutting it on particularly sunny days. Zenni has said they can't go any darker, so I'm looking for other options. So if you're happy with some very dark (or even mirrored) prescription sunglasses that you've ordered online, tell me where you got 'em!
ISO discount grocery stores around the Cambridge-to-Waltham Massachusetts corridor. I'm thinking here of the dented-can, overstock, weird-food-that-didn't-sell-in-the-regular-supermarket, fell-off-the-loading-dock variety. Like a "Building 19⅚" of grocery stores. I've seen places like this in other locales, but not around where I live.

Looking at options to create a membership card for discounts at businesses, similar to a KCRW Fringe Benefits card. I haven't done this before so I'm not sure about which membership card manufacturers would be good to order from or about how the card technology itself works. Right now, getting the businesses and customers to cooperate is the easy part for me... I need to figure out how to make the card work and to be sure I can keep track of all member activity. Educate me please, if you can! Thank you! :)

We're all students and we're trying to find cheap tickets, but we want to have this sorted out in advance instead of waiting to buy tickets day-of. Does anyone know a good way to do this? I'm in New York if it's something that needs to be done in person, although through a website would be preferable. We're just looking for good deals or discounts, or something. Also I know nothing about Broadway, so recommendations for fun shows would be very welcome!
