I'm having this kinda voyeuristic desire to read about the everyday experiences of other people's lives. I know that, tumblr, being the most popular form of blogging currently, has to have a bunch of people that just use it as a kind of public journal, but it's hard to sift through the reaction gifs and meme conversations. What are some of your favorite tumblrs that are mostly just people talking about their lives?
I have good systems for keeping myself organised online, with a combination of calendars, to-do lists, and notetaking. When I look at the time I spend staring at various screens to manage my life, it's scary. I want to try going back to pen-and-paper organisation. What tools or methods would work best? [more inside]

I'm doing a miserable job of logging what I eat, so I am trying to think of how to set the bar as low as possible and make it super easy to have a record of what I've eaten. So I've been using Oh Life to keep a journal for the last two years. The most useful feature is that it emails you a daily prompt, then stores your response online. You can also export all of your entries as a single document at any time. Sadly, the site is going away in October. Are there any other online journal apps that have similar email prompts, and aggregate your entries? [more inside]

I have never been a consistent journal keeper, and I would like to start today! I bought myself one of those five-year journals that has just enough space to write a thought or two each day. Because I overthink and like structure, I am thinking through all the ways to use it before I make that first entry. I have separate apps for exercise and to-do lists. I guess I am looking for a daily prompt or two for this journal. Please help me out: Five years from now, what would you be interested in reading about your daily life?
