What happens when someone gets stabbed in one of the main neck arteries with objects of varying dimensions? So I'm a big fan of both the TV show Dexter, and also general horror movies and the like. I've been getting very conflicting information! Dexter stabs his victims in the neck with a syringe before doing his handywork. I've also seen in various video games and movies a special type of "syringe gun" used to instantly deliver medicine.
This conflicts somewhat with horror movie depictions of arterial wounds in that seemingly even the smallest cut will send gallons of the ol' kroovy spewing about the room.
Of course there are issues of size related to the hole, but I'd always been under the impression that the neck veins were special and different from the others. In addition, I've never actually SEEN someone outside of a fictional setting use the neck vein to deliver drugs.
Can't someone inform me?

Where does Dexter get his clothes? Asking for my roommate:

"I really like the clothes Dexter wears on the TV show.
While they look rather generic, they also look quite nice. Anyone knows
where I can find out where to get the stuff?"

The wife and I are big fans of Dexter. Can anyone identify this hat and/or shirt? I'm guessing the shirt Dexter wears is some sort of Henley, (at least that's what my wife is calling it), and I might be able to find something like it at Abercrombie, Old Navy, etc. Angel's hat is a different story. I have no clue where to look. I always thought it looked like black leather, but another pic I found has him wearing something very different. It looks on the show like he only wears one hat, so that may be it. Anyone know where to find anything like in either of the photos?

The Dexter opening theme reminds me of a song but I can't figure out what, it's killing me (pun slightly intended), does it remind anybody else of anything so I can maybe connect the dots?

Help! I'm addicted to Dexter

Help! I've become addicted to the new Showtime program Dexter, and I'm trying to figure out how I can get a hold of new episodes legally and theres I don't own a TV, but staying at a friends house a few weeks ago, I watched all the Dexter episodes to date. Unfortunately, I don't have cable, I don't even have a TV. So I'm trying to find a way to get a hold of the new episodes... legally.

Any suggestions? (And it doesn't seem to be available on iTunes, but if I'm wrong I'd love to be enlightened)
