My HP Pavillion dv4000 is not allowing me to log into the computer. It did this once before saying i lost my password and i had to have my ex do some trickery and it was fine. Now it is doing it all over again. This time I did not have a password..it has just locked me out completely. [more inside]

Oops ... I accidentally deleted the "Show Desktop" application from Windows XP. Not just the taskbar shortcut, mind you, but the actual program. What is the easiest way to undelete it? I tried using a restore point, but it didn't work.

Im too good to pay for a remote desktop application so I searched for the best/most secure and found Back Oriface 2k. The problem is that now Mcafee shits it self and deletes it! Is there anyway to get McAfee to ignore or it am i going to have to uninstall Mcafee?

or - second question: Is there a better one out there that doesn't have the unfortunate reputation as being a script kiddie tool?

I want to broadcast a single desktop to multiple computers for training purposes on our internal network. I looked at VNC, but it looks like that is only one-to-one viewing. Is there any software to accomplish this with a group (8-10 per session)?

Win2K - I had a risque pictue set as my desktop background. My in-laws are coming to stay for a week, and my machine is in the guest room. Since I already don't rate very highly with then, I swapped the background image to something very tame. However, during the startup process, the original image appears for a couple of seconds before being replaced by the new. Why does this happen, and how can I fix it?
