Recommend new desk for Laptop + Flat Panel(s)?
My computer is dying, as is its old desk. I need to replace both. While I'm set on the hardware (15" MacBook Pro + 27" LCD Monitor), I can't find the ideal desk. [more inside]

The company I work for is probably moving away from our parent company into a 3400 sq. ft. building of our own.
I have the task (opportunity) to suggest how we can set up this office for our 31 people. The question is, is there a non-traditional option that is better than the standard cube farm, but is still inexpensive and effective? [more inside]

I need a desk, ASAP (preferably today) (the movers broke mine). I live in Chelsea. Where should I go? (I've tried Staples, Bed Bath & Beyond and The Door Store).

I've got a chance to buy an Ikea Jerker computer desk locally for a good price (the closest Ikea store is in Houston, we're in Austin). How sturdy are they? I'm used to early-80s solid-steel welded Steelcase desks, and am wondering if the Jerker will be solid enough for a 19" monitor and Mac G4 tower. [more inside]

I've got a rather old and decrepit office-surplus Steelcase desk in my "home office" right now, and am looking for something newer that doesn't have drawers for me to fill up with crud.
Needs to be VERY sturdy (as I may have 2 or 3 large monitors on it at any time) and not wobbly or flimsy at all. I've looked at the IKEA "Jerker" desk, but the closest IKEA is in Houston (I'm in Austin) and buying one mail-order would be prohibitive.
Suggestions? Budget is $200 max.
