I was supposed to see a psychiatrist today. I waited six weeks to get this appointment, after waiting five long months for my insurance to kick in. When I arrived they told me that my appointment had accidentally been given to someone else, and the soonest they could reschedule was another month. I honestly don't know if I can wait that long. I need a therapist. I recently moved to the Boston area, I don't really know anybody, and Psychology Today isn't doing it for me.
