I seem to be allergic to antiperspirants, but regular deodorant isn't strong enough to stop my powerful aura. What do similarly, uh, endowed people with sensitive skin do to be less of a nose-burden on the people around them? [more inside]
I'm looking for suggestions for deodorant only (ie not anti-perspirant). Because a) women's deodorants are not exactly abundant, and b) online reviews tend to leave something to be desired, I'm hoping you MeFites can help. Details inside. [more inside]
Wondering if Speed Stick or whatever is an issue for my 13 yo son. Since he is growing etc etc, are there any potential risks of using regular deodorant from the drug store? I am NOT considering anti-antiperspirant, btw. Any suggestions that don't involve making a trip to a healthfood store or homeopath would be welcomed. [more inside]
I used to use Dove roll on but am currently trying out Nivea Dry Comfort. I'm not sure whether I'm particularly sold on it. While my armpits generally smell okay, sometimes the armpit area of my clothes ends up smelly anyway. Can you tell me what's up with that? And/or: Can you recommend some kind of anti-perspirant which also imparts a pleasant smell, not just a neutral one?
Asking for my wife: Are there any deodorants for women that are NOT also antiperspirants? Looking for a recommendation for just deodorant for women. Why is it that men get this option and women don't?
Do you have a recommendation for an unscented antiperspirant/deodorant? [more inside]
I sweat a lot. A tremendous amount. I sweat when it's 68 degrees outside. I sweat every single moment of the day. I've tried a number of stick and gel and spray antiperspirants and had varying degrees of luck with each of them. My favorite (Mitchum's gel) generally works better than most, but, after it destroyed a really nice new suit jacket within two hours of wearing - I've got to find something new. So, here's the question: Is there any antiperspirant out there that actually reduces the sweat AND won't ruin my clothes?
My armpits have been sweating WAY more than usual for the past few weeks. What could be causing this? [more inside]

I'm a guy. I do yoga in a heated room. I don't want to want to bother others in class with massively perfumed deodorants, but I also don't want to have bad body odor. Which deodorant do I want? [more inside]
It has been decades since I've worn deodorant. I think I need to start wearing it again for a couple of reasons. All of the deodorants at the drugstore smell to me either cheap, or like something a teenager would wear. Is there somewhere else I should search? Can anyone recommend anything? Roll-on, non-antiperspirant preferred. (Please no salt stone suggestions, they have not worked for me.)

I got tired of normal deodorants and anti-perspirants -- they didn't always work, I don't like the way they smell, and the residue made my clothes discolour and eventually break down under the arms. So I started using Odaban spray, which I love. There's basically nothing in it except, I think, water and aluminium chloride. Now I want to make my own version at home, but I'm kind of intimidated by the chemistry aspects -- can you help me? [more inside]

I have had an issue with a bumpy, red, ITCHY rash for the last 7 years when I use certain anti-perspirants/deodorants, and have been changing them up to fix the rash. I am asking for your help because the rash is back, I am clean out of ideas and am holding off the rash only slightly right now. Sorry for the long post, details inside. [more inside]

Men's armpit filter: My antiperspirant/deodorant (or me) is staining the armpit area of my white cotton t-shirts. This is happening after literally one to two uses of the shirt. What gives? Can someone recommend a antiperspirant/deodorant that does not do this? Currently I use Degree for men.

I left a stick of speed stick deodorant on the seat of my car's seat, and the heat of the sun melted it into the seat's fabric. How should I get it out? It's melted into a lump that's stuck in the seat, and I can kind of scrape some of it off, but not all of it. My car also smells great.
I tend to sweat a lot on hot days and occasionally this ends up ruining nice shirts with pit stains. I've read plenty of threads about deodorants and anti-perspirants that could be helpful, but maybe I should address my long armpit hair. I can see both sides: More hair means more surface area for deodorant and keeps sweat from running (I think). Less hair means less surface area for sweat to stick onto but gets the deodorant closer to the pores. What's the way to go? I'm not considering shaving my pits, but more or less trimming them down short.
My partner claims that Axe is the only deodorant that doesn't go rancid on her within a couple hours, but I have serious objections to supporting that offensive and misogynistic company. I need suggestions for deodorants that will make my partner feel clean and nice-smelling and yet not set off my moral objection sensor. [more inside]

My SO picked up a few sticks of Axe roll-on deodorant while in Europe this summer. I figured they'd make good stocking stuffers this Christmas, but can't seem to find a place that will ship to America. Any ideas?
