I've just had 3 white enamel fillings in the bottom-left corner of my mouth. Looking in the mirror, I now have a small bluish-gray mark at the nearest 'peak' of each molar. Should I be worried? [more inside]

My wife and I went to the dentist yesterday for an exam. This was our first time at this dentist. He said that both of us had some spots of receding gums, and recommended getting fillings to protect the un-enameled areas of the teeth. I'm not sure that I want a filling for something that seems like brushing habits and taking more vitamin-C can fix. [more inside]
